just recieved a warning when I attempted to connect to ncpars.org that the site was hacked. My antivirus showed a Exploit Blackhat Seo (type 1720) was active at that location.

google reports possible site hack as well

I hope this is not the case but caution is always advised

It probably was, our local club site was also hacked using a Script Kiddie. It happened because the software was not up to date, it was an easy fix. Fragswpper is down so I'm assuming it was attacked too.

My guess for the fragswapper outage is the server it is on not being able to handle all the traffic with the swaps coming up. If I remember correctly, this happened last year too. Fizz is on vacation and may not be able to deal with it right now.

The FragSwapper outage wasn't caused by any hacking attempts or overuse--my host had some kind of hardware issue and ALL of the IIS (Windows) servers were down. Something about the servers not being able to "connect to their network storage". They tried a few quick fixes but things were still slow and kept dropping so they finally put us all on new hardware.

It was down for about about 24 hours according to my host's log.

I didn't have to do anything....I was relaxing in the outer banks through all of it...I had no clue....ignorance truly is bliss. :)

Such is the life of a website owned and operated by one person...the site runs (relatively) fine for 9 years, I go away for one week and it goes down. But even if I were around I wouldn't have been able to do anything about it other then respond to messages!
