Need a $3000.00 fish?

I get regular emails from this website and they do have a lot of rare and cool fish. Just go one yesterday stating that they are getting some Gem Tangs which the haven't had in years. Cost is $3000.00.

I saw someone post about one they had in some forum a while back. I didn't realize they were so sought after and rare. Unless the photo doesn't do them justice, I'm not very impressed with 'em!! I could think of a better way to spend $3000

I agree Josh. I didn't think it was that impressive either. Isn't there a common tang that looks very similar to this one?

Ha. I just got the same e-mail from Marine Center, I love the fact that they have to say the price is correct and there is no error.

I dont think I would want to mail order a fish for $3000. With my luck it would end up being the most expensive anemone food ever! I also agree that the fish doesn't look all that impressive.

A Gem Tang? lol no no i think you mean a GM Tang costs $3,000. I hear that car gets pretty good gas mileage. lol at least thats the price of my car

who in their right mind would spend that much on a fish. I like how they make it sound like its a really hot item and its going to be gone soon.

Maybe you should order two that way if you did loose one as anemone food you would still have one.

That might work, but I have three anemones and I'm sure they would all want one.. (LOL) Not to mention that if I spent that much on a fish I would probably have to find another place to live, or my wife would kill me.

Okay... which one of you bought that fish? I want to come see it in person! Never seen a fish being sold for $3K. If you have that much cash to buy a fish that looks like that, just to take a couple pictures before it dies, I want you to come over for a beer sometime.
