I have snails and serpents but I want a clean up fish. basically the equal of a FW catfish. here are the details

Bare Bottom 68 gal
2 clowns
1 bi-color blenny
1 cleaner wrasse
1 copperband butterfly

I was going to add another blenny but affraid of conflict between the new one and the bi-color.

I want something that will eat whatever the fish leave behind.

thanks

I would not add another blenny, they will fight to the death. Not to many cleaner type fish out there.

SOme tangs, such as mimics, orange shoulders, etc, will feed on detritus off the bottom of the tank.

Chevrons, as well as the orange shoulder would get to big for your tank. You might be okay with a small mimic, at least till it gets big.

I have a Diamond Goby that keeps my sandbed spotless... and has a great personality. May or may not have probs with your blenny though... think, it would depend on the temperment of the indivitual.

Yeah, they are great fish! I adore my diamond goby. I agree that with a blenny its risky though, unless its a 100+ gallon tank. But his issue is that his tank is barebottom. I definitely wouldnt put a diamond in with no substrate - he'd be miserable.

I don't know if this is common but my sixline will swim nose down to eat from the substrate. I would think one would do the same on a barebottom tank if any food was leftover there. He might be a good option, unless you have small fanworms or tiny snails you want to keep. Mine is a very active fish and hes a complete fatso, mildly agressive towards very shy fish though.

Ive had a gold sleeper goby and a midas Bleeny together for over a year now with no problems. They both seem to not even notice each other and they are in a 55g tank. Mine keeps my sand pretty clean but I do take a turkey baster in there and stir thing up a few times a week just to hit the dead spots behind the rocks...
