Need a Nano Skimmer

Hello All,

I just bought a one month old 29g BioCube for $150. I think i got a good deal on that. I need a nano skimmer. Do the experts out there recommend any certain ones? If you do, let me know please. Thanks.

My understanding is that most nano skimmers are pretty useless. Unless you want to put microbubbles into your tank. If you are dead set on one, I have a Berlin airlift 30 that I got with my 20 gal cube. You can have it, the airpump I got with it and some spare airblocks for $10.00. It is about 10 inches tall.

At 29 gallons, you can use a CPR Bakpak or an Aqua C Remora (many would say that the latter is better). But you should definitely skim with that many gallons. I wonder what will fit on the back of that tank?

I heard the Tunze requires modifications to the lid in order to use it. I want a skimmer that does not require any mods. The CPR is a viable option but i would rather have one that is hidden versus hang off the back. If anyone knows of one, please advise.

I know there should be one that fits directly into the chamber...
Did you try n a n o t u n e r s . c o m ?

I think the model I have would have to be in the main display area of your tank. It is way too big to fit in the sump/filter area of a biocube.

Problem solved guys/gals. The CPR Backpack fits easily into the Bio Balls chamber. Remove balls, insert CPR. It works like a beauty. I didnt want to use bio balls anyway...ill send pics later! Oh yea..I can still close the lid too. Thanks for the responses.
