Moving on Up
I am going to try the Tunze pumps on my next tank instead of Vortechs. The tank is a 48x20x21 tall Rimless design made out of inch and a quarter acrylic. I can't use magnets to hold the pumps because of the thickness. I do want to hide the pump or pumps as much as possible. So my question Roger is...

What pump or pumps do you suggest for my setup and how can I hide the pumps? Do you still have those rock holders?

The rock holders are still made, in fact The Alternative Reef also offers various custom holders. Keep in mind you do need to remove the pumps for cleaning every 4-6 months so don't get carried away in efforts to hide them. As far as model recommendations, a lot will depend on what you plan to keep.

It really will depend on the focus, if the focus is not SPS, mainly softies, LPS and polyps, then 2 6055. If the tank will be heavy on SPS- 2 6105, but you will likely need to run them at less than full power. If you are not in a hurry, the 6095's would do the job best of all, but they won't be out until September.

Thanks I guess for location if I use the deco rock will be in the bottom corners facing the front?

I would avoid the very bottom, getting sand in the pumps is a sure way to do them in. The ideal is a low rock structure and the pump rocks are the top rock in the front or rear corners. Pick your favorite zoanthid and start it on the rock, that way you can quickly get it covered with something attractive without much worry of pulling it or moving it to clean the pump.
