Need FAST opinion on light

Also for the record my 90 gallon tank has a brace in the middle will this light have a shadow problem?

one year old and already needs replacement LED's I would be very concerned. yes it will shadow a bit depending on the width of the brace.

I should have clarified the bulbs that need replacement are these

With that being said the person I am buying it off needs money for his dishwasher and for the lights including ceiling hanger and ballast $100 even with $50 in bulbs can I really be going wrong @ $150?

EDIT - Decided against buying it since LFS is giving me a discount on a complete new setup.

What is the person wanting to sell it for. That is a very old model fixture. Also you have to take into account the price of having to replace both halide and PC's every year. It gets expensive. Along with metal halides comes more heat which means more evaporation and the water bill going up, not to mention needing to run fans to maintain temperature either that or running a chiller.

Ive had both Halides and led's. Halides look better to me but the cost of running them don't justify the little gain in how the light looks. The closest LED's I have found to replicate the way a metal halide looks are Kessil's.

Disregard should have read last post. LOL I feel stupid.

Look at something like Kessil's new A 360's they rival MH color and shimmer with much less heat and consumption
