Need feedback for my new reef Setup

Hy Leonardo,
the main idea of the Jaubert is to promote a low oxigen zone and very acid.

It promotes Denitrification and also naturally saturate the system with Calcium.

As I´m using Halimeda and crushed coral, I also noticed that PH tends to be much more stable.

Just some new pictures

Colours juste getting better...

I have the same taste for fishes... not only the colours of the imperator, but also the way angelfishes swim... by far the most interesting nature fishes in my oppinion.

Will for sure keep the report around impearator and also the flame....

I´m change the feeding from once a day to twice a day... and Zoanthus restarted to open and grow....

Some new pictures from the tank... just visit some stores in Orlando an brought some chalices and other corals...

Don´t have a clue of what is this one...

I don´t know why, but my GSP (Green Star Polips) are not opening anymore... they are the only Corals suffering for something...

I´ll receive a new (Brazilian) Calcium reactor, the actual one (Koralin) is very good, but good for 200Gal system... and is not working with my 400 gal. Ít´s a 3 gal reaction chamber... against 1/2 gal of the actual.

Thanks a lot.

At this moment Nitrate and Phosphate are near zero (Good skimmer plus Vodka dosing)

Corals are growing, but acroporas are suffering from Red Bug attack...

I´m trying to decide if I´m going to treat the system against red bugs or not...
got some good and bad feedbacks about the treatment, but the one that afreid me is that after treating agains red bug, a friend suffered a lot with AEFW... and there is some speculation regarding to red bugs vc AEFW...

Best regards to all.

wow Carlos, coming along nicely, tank and woodwork absolutely stunning, great job, btw my adult imperator leaves my sps alone and most lps/softies but likes candycanes. I have a light green common frogspawn he's not interested in however he ate a bright neon green frogspawn. I agree, they are at the top of the fish selection for me too, wish they were a little more reef safe, mine makes a grunt sound so loud it can be heard 50 ft away!

Elliott, part of my plan was to remove both, imperator and flame angel, so the corals could grow in a safe environment.

But after thinking a lot around that, i decided to build an excluseve coral tank connected to the main system.

It´s going to be small 50 gal system with 12 inches deep and I´m planning to put ther some rare SPSs and any other coral that the angels decide to eat.
I´t will use only T5 illumination and the focus is the upper view (if anyone cold send me a draft of some similar system, I´d appreciate.

regarding to the imperator, mine is a juvenile, but I hope will starting the changing in less than 1/2 a year.

Best regards.
