Need HELP!!! Broke my calcium reactor.

I am really bummed today,I was moving my calcium reactor today and broke the union part that enters into the acrylic chamber. It is an MRC-2 and I talked with Andy at MRC there and he said it can be fixed but I need a Spears union, a 3/4" holesaw and 1/2" tap. I need somebody that is pretty handy at working with this stuff for a helping hand. Can anyone help me PLEASE. Thanks.

damn a 1/2" tap is pretty big(i'm guessing 1/2" pvc tap). they do sell it at lowes if someone doesn't have it here though(but its like $30 or more). Good luck.

Although it probably wouldn't be the best condition but if Stu doesn't have the right hole saw you could probably use a 1/2" drill and then sand it out to 3/4" if you feel cheap(not sure how well it will work with the tap). I did that for my reactor but I didn't need to tap anything.

Thanks guys,
Stugray, let me know if you have one, also if you can help me fix it this weekend that would be awesome I'll pay for it :).

Hoosier daddy,

I do have the 1/2 -14 NPT Tap.

I also have the liquid acrylic & Weldon #4 & 16 just in case...
