Need Help Decideing On A Skimmer!!!

ok........ here's the big question......

If you had the $$$$ to pay for a top quality skimmer for a 210 SPS Display that WILL eventually be over-stocked, with a total of volume of 500 gallons.

WHAT WOULD BE YOUR CHOICE!!!!!

Here's the ones that I am thinking about, From the one i most want to the one I want least......

1. Deltec AP902 W/Self Cleaning Head, (I really like to see a video of one with the self cleaning head in action!!!!!)
2. Royal Exclusiv- Bubble King 300 External
3. H & S- A200


If you have any others in mind…. LET ME KNOW!!! I am currently buying all the stuff needed and this one piece is stumping me so I need advice.

of the one's you mentioned, I think I would go with #1 just because of the self cleaning head. I hate cleaning a skimmer and this will help insure the the sklimmer maintains optimal performance. All are good skimmers as most skimmers that can skim 500 gallons are. I would advise that you sit down and rank the most important qualities that you want in a skimmer, then choose the skimmer that fits those qualities best.

The BK is going to be the best skimmer of that group with the H&S second and the Deltec last. Deltec's self clenaning heads are cool, but I don't think they are going to be worth the money. Its not that hard to keep a skimmer clean and consistently checking on a skimmers skimmate production is a good way to make sure that it is performing well. The BK is an exceptional skimmer and the performance exceeds every skimmer that is mass marketed. If you have the cash then go with BK.

Well then....... IF i do go with BK should i buy the internal or external?.... whats the major differences other then insump or out?
