Just bought the guy a week ago and he is out swimming with the crowd from 9 AM to 6 PM. I tried feeding him frozen brine, mysis and plankton and he goes for it but spits the food out. What do I do he isn't a fat guy and i'm afraid hes going to get thinner.
Yes he eats live brine and spits out frozen food. I'm worried now two weeks hes going to starve to death. Not sure what to do now can't keep feeding an active wrasse live food.
If its possible to catch him, put him in a QT and train him to eat there first, it will be much easier. In the future go this route, makes life easier with fussy fish, not too mention you don't risk infecting your tank
Well forget it he died this morning! (Three weeks to the day) Doesn't make since I finally was able to target feed him blood worms for over a week. Guess that wasn't enough regarless it is my last attempt with wrasses!
