Need help getting started

I am new to the hobby of Marine Aquriums i have had 5 years of freshwater experience.

I have the following

24 gallon nano cube
Fission nano skimmer
2 hydrometers
Stealth heater
Arga Alive live sand
Thermometer
Instant ocean salt

Am i missing anything?

And after the liverock has COMPLETELY cycled a clean up crew and then 1 fish a month. And that cube will not handle very many fish. So 1 or 2 small fish will be about it

A good set of test kits. You'll want Ammonia, Nitrite, and Nitrate kits to monitor your cycle.

Then you'll want at least Calcium, PH, and Alkalinity kits to monitor those items later on down the line.

Can you put the lights on a timer? If so, get a timer too.

A good bucket that you'll use only for your SW nano, and a pair of latex gloves (to start). And I'd recommend that you make that thermometer digital (if you just have an old glass one).

I also second the recommendation for test kits -- and would suggest that you spend the extra $ and go with the Salifert kits where possible. Other kits may be cheaper, but they're both harder to use and less precise.
