Gorgonian. Photosynthetic. Very cool. I have one. Mine is directly from Gary M., which yours resembles. In some circles, its known as Gary M's Gorg. Not to be confused with Gary M's unknown acro.

Really thats a relief.. I bought it from a guy who told me it was some type of leather, but I had my doubts... I just took My finger and toadstool to ARC and traded for a decent piece of acro but kept this guy mainly because it never slimed.. Im hoping my colors come back to my other acros now :) Thanks for the fast response Capt.

Playing Mr Mom ALL weekend. RC has been keeping me sane. I don't see that gorg posing any problems to a healthy reef tank.

Been there done that :) Got 3 of em ...
Im hoping my colors come back to my acros.. Used to be deep flourecent green and the past couple months have been a brown/ tan color yet they have continued to grow??? Just added a couple more acros today that are brilliant in coloration so we'll see how things progress :)

research Plexaura and Pseudoplexaura ;)

this is one of Julian Sprung's favorite corals

One of mine as well I now see why it was advised against mixing the species in one tank :( but like everything I have to try it the hard way 1st.. I still house SPS and LPS in the same tank which I dont think is as bad but I dont see to many doing it .. The pattern seems to be one or the other :( I think the Vortechs help though?
