They run like christmas tree lights... positive to negative in a string.
So if you look at the pic, one connects to the other... although the picture i have shows 21 leds in a string. I did 14 to run on my driver, which is the maximum this driver can use.
Updated Pic with 14 LED's per string.... See where the red wires are, that is a complete string. Notice the pattern..... In each string they are the same color. So one string is blue, one is white.
Now... depending on the driver, you can string 6 - 14 led's of the same color together. All blue or all white, like in the pics above (depends also on the LED itself).
Then the driver has to be adjusted, depending on the driver you buy & use... to work with the led by adjusting the svr2 on the inside of the driver to the maximum milliamp of your led. Instructions are on Rapid Led.
Example: Cree Royal Blues XPE's run at 1000mA Max
Example: Cree Cool White XPG R5 run at 1500mA Max
Driver: Meanwell ELN 60-48D Dimmable driver is factory preset at 1300mA but the Max is 1700mA. So I set all my drivers at 1000mA which is the maximum for the Cree Royal Blues.
So if you add the royal blues to the driver without dimming the driver down, you can short them out. So you need to adjust the driver on the inside 1st to work with your LED'S.
Its pretty simple, don't be affraid!! Just take your time and post questions. You'll be able to find me!! GL!!
