ive inhereted a big lta, hes been blowing around in the sandy area of my tank for a week with no attempt at siting. the sand is over 3" deep and the lighting is decent. any ideas on helpin him site? my other anemones had no trouble siting but ive never had one of these.

LTA's need to bury their foot in the sandbed.

With mine, I wear a glove and set it in a place with not too much flow. Usually within a few hours, it will have buried its foot.

My LTA stayed in the same place for more than a year, then it started to move around. It turns out that one of my powerheads was clogged and I didn't realize it. Once I reestablished "normal" flow for my tank, I was able to reset the anemone and it has stayed put.

Best of luck,

Roy
