I got a used calcium reactor and need some help/advice on set-up. I live in Roseville and was hoping someone w experience w such equipment can come over and give some advice on set-up and placement.

Hey homie, i've got your directions right here. Maybe a frag of that Pavona Malavensis will persuade me, oh wait, that P malavensis is mine. Maybe a frag of the mike bedfordi frogspawn will peek my interest. Sorry couldn't resist. If you really need help i'll persuade the wife with a little somethin somethin in exchange for time off with good behavior to help you out.

Thanks for the link Marko9.

-It's made by Acrylic City part # acrd418 for the CR.

-It has a solenoid on the valve.

-It has a Ph moniter and I think the Ph reading comes from the drip.If i remember correctly that's how the guy I got it from had it set-up?

You should invest in a quality needle valve rather than that JG on/off valve to regulate the effluent drip. Pain in the arse to get fine control with those.

Yeah, then you are going to need to have your ph monitor in a seperate jar or vase to read it properly and so it will de-gas. I modified mine so I can take the reading staight from the canister. This made is a little easier. You can get the piece from Marine Depot if you are interested. I can try to take a pic of it as well.

I agree, I have heard how difficult those are to adjust.
