Need help with attaching mushrooms!

I've recently aquired some single mushrooms and i've tried everything i could think of to get them to attach to the small piece of liverock that i've chosen. I've stuck them in a grove and put them in a spot with basically 0 water flow (several attempts) and i've even gone to the extreme of using Super glue gel to bind them to the rock but they tore away from it within a few minutes...

Any suggestions?

Get some bridal veil netting at the local fabric store [white, no dyes] and bag it loosely and gently to the rock with a loose rubber band.

Get a piece of wedding veil. Stick the shroom to the rock where you want it, put the veil over it. Hold the veil with rubber bands.

Panty hose will not work as well becase it will not proviced good water flow, the bridal veil has much larger holes and works perfectly.

Like the others said, wedding veil. If you're coming to the club meeting tomorrow, bring some rubble (a little on the larger side makes it easier) and the shrooms and we can show you how to do it. I'm pretty sure I have a bunch of veil with the rest of my reef stuff.

I've had great success with a gravel bowl. Use a small bowl with gravel in the bottom. The bowl creates a very low flow area, so the frag settles to the bottom. I've cut mushrooms in half and put the frags in the gravel bowl after about 3 days they are attached and then the gravel they are attached to can be superglued to another rock.

Ok, yeah, i've been in the hobby for a while and never knew about the reef club, im thinking about joining,b ut ill probably be the youngest member lol. I just like the thought of promoting aquacultured corals and doing enviromental stuff like cleaning beaches. Anyways, ill try and make the meeting tomorrow but it all depends on my other obligations
