need ideas for a 5g fluval chi

Got one today, thinking either a) scorpion fish biotope b) riccordea garden with shrimps or c) mangrove display


The lighting and filtration will be replaced btw.

Any other ideas? I havent designed a nano in a while..

I dont think there are any scorpion fish that will fit into 5 gallons

Id shoot for a goby and pistol shrimp pair with easy corals.

alright thanks, I was thinking frogfish not scorpion btw, but still, they probably get too big too.

Another idea was having a column up the middle all the way up and out of the water and letting corals grow sideways out from it. Can this be done?

sure it can be done, a lot of people like to drill holes through their good rocks and mount them on top of pvc pipes as stands in the center. as the rock fits over the pole and you stack up more pieces the support structure disappears and it looks like a free standing column...

sometimes they hide the base of the pipe stand with a few more rocks...

You could do some mini maxi anemones and sexy shrimp. The nems are really colorful and the shimp are nice and active
