need info about aqua controller 3

hey everybody, i was wondering if i could get some feedback about the aqua controller 3 by neptune? i am considering purchasing one and thought i should see what everybody thought about it.
what kind of extras do i need to control the basics, lights, powerheads etc....

They have a new one coming out called the APEX.
You might want to look in that direction.

is the apex by neptune also? how long has it been out? i bet it probably cost more than the ac3 too. i will defnitly check into it though, thanks

I use an AC3 on my 300. It was previously used on my 390. I have a DC8 with my moonlights, fans, CO2 solenoid, 2 ATO pumps, and kalk mixer pump plugged into it. I have a DC4HD with 3 metal halide ballasts and 1 vho ballast. I use the Aquasurf to control 4 Tunzes. I have a breakout box that I use with ATO floats. I'm very pleased with the quality of the controller and the service that I get when I'm too stupid to figure it out myself.

i have two tanks, i want to control the lights on both of them. one of them runs a nova extreme 8 bulb t5 and the other one has a 250 watt hqi mh. will the mh work with the 8 plug-in or will i have to use the 4 plug hd?

It has not been released yet. I believe it is supposed to come out at the end of the month.
