If you have a 50g upward tank and a good strong fuge, or a 100g with that much live rock, you'll be fine to care for one. They're otherwise disease and parasite resistant, not -proof; quite oblivious to territories and anybody's business or threats...they get into trouble that way at times. My ywg occasionally grabs mine and shoves her several inches across the tank and out of his territory. She hardly misses a beat during this, searching for pods.
