Need a best guess ID on this a lfs has it and its $45. The aquatics guy posted it on our local fourm. It was labeled as a colored bubble tip. I think its ritteri but this is the only pic I have to go by and dont want to make a two hour trip for a bubble tip but if its ritteri I'm gone.

Hard to tell from the photo. The red column could mean LTA (M. doreensis) or condylactus but would need better photo of tentacles and oral disk to confirm.

Unfortunately, it could be any of the listed nems above. My gut tells me that it's a mag, but I've seen BTAs with the same colors. You'll need a photo of the mouth to get a better idea of what it is.

That's not a BTA...I'm pretty positive it's a Magnifica.

The only thing throwing me is the base. Very unique!

Strong color. I would call and see if they can take a few more pics.

PM me or post here and I'll confirm for you.

Or text me at 713-504-2100

Here's a photo of a white tipped BTA with a pink base:

The tips, bubble up at the tip instead of nar the tip cause me to think it is a Magnifica. Compair the tips of the anemones in Jared's picture (Magnifica) and D-Nak's picture (BTA), you see what I mean. BTA have that pointed nipples look while Magnifica have that flat bubble at the tips.

It was a Mag and from the remains of it when I saw it this afternoon it was a beauty. I went to the fish store to buy it and it was falling apart. Not sure I've ever heard of one going down that fast. Oh well, my wait for a red or yellow one continues.
