Not from your area, and I don't know your experience...
The rock we use in this hobby will drastically increase the PH of fresh water. If you're planning a freshwater pond, with freshwater fish, limestone could be counterproductive.

When I had my pond running I just threw in some river rock. Seemed to work OK.
