Need 2 small ones....1200-900. Wich ever....Need one for some flow in my refugium and the other to power my phosban reactor...

a 900 or 1200 might be too much flow for a phosban reactor. Go with something smaller like a minijet 404. thats what i use and they are only $11 at MD.

I agree, a MJ 900/1200 would turn the media into dust. You can throttle it down using a ball valve but imo it would just generate heat. I use a small Rio 90 for my phos reactor and even that pump was still too much flow, I still had to throttle it down a bit with the valve that came with the reactor (TLF).
