i am new to keeping yumas and rics but not to regular shrooms. i was wondering if yumas and rics can be close to each other and or regular shrooms as well as other types of mushrooms. Any advise or info would help. also do yumas like to be closer to the bottom or top of the tank. i have a 240g with 4 x 39 watt T5's with 2 x 250watt 20k MH's.

For the most part, yes they can touch "like" corals. red shrooms can touch blue or brown or whatever.

Ricordeas, same thing. I don't know if yumas can touch floridas or not, but I've definitely seen a LOT of ricordeas piled on top of each other in small areas.

I have seen regular mushrooms and ricordeas touching, but I don't know if that's as safe as it looked.

thanks for the reply. i figured as much. i'm just worried cause i just bought a super bright rainbow yuma and paid top dollar for it and i have so many other types of mushrooms around my tank that i don't know if its safe to put it near other ones. but now that u replied maybe u can help me with this shroom i just bought about a week ago. it looks cool but i have no info on it. like where its from? what its lighting needs are? and so on. any ideas?
