Need some help understanding new 6100/7091 combo

Hey guys,

okay I joined the Tunze crowd and got a 6100 Stream and 7091 controller today. I need some help configuring it though since it seems to be blasting everything in my tank. I turned it down as far as possible (counter clockwise on the driver), but it still is flattening some of the inhabitants and it blew a BTA clear across the tank (actually towards the stream which tells me that it is working)...

Anyway if I set the Pulse to 30% is that 30% of the setting on the side of the driver?

The driver has to be at 100% or the controller does not work- it is an either or situation. Just run it at say 30% -50% and gradually increase it. The driver though has to be at 100% power. Otherwise aim it diagonally across the tank back corner to front center.
