My LFS bought in a coupe recently and would like to know what their temperament are with other are like. They are about 1 1/2" long and my fish on my 200+gal tank are like 1 firefish, 6 bartlet anthias, 4 blue/green chromis, 1 flasher wrasse, 1 royal gramma, 1 yellow possum wrasse, 1 geometric pygmy hawkfish, 1 lawnmower blenny, 1 mandarin and some tangs. Are they very agressive or mild mannered as the stated on liveaquaria. Was going to put in about 3 azure damsels but i'm verry iffy about that.:worried::worried:

I have had one for a couple of years and it is a great fish. Colorful, very active and doesn't bother anyone. It is in a 180 with 4 other wrasses. They are jumpers though and you will need some type of top. I have the window screen frames with 1/4" netting in it which works great. I had the top off doing tank maintenance the other day and he got spooked and jumped out of the tank and landed about 3 feet away. Fortunately I was there to put him back in and he was no worse for the wear.

thanks allot ......................hoping to put them in soon after they come out of QT by the LFS. They are really very colorful fish. It should bring some color to my tank.........LOL

I love mine! I have a pair of solon fairy wrasses in my 125 gal. and they are always out swimming around and never bother anyone. They are always the first fish people point out while checking out the tank. I have a cover on my tank too. Really pretty fish!

I have a 4" Solon in my 230g tank and love it as well. It is very peaceful and gets along with my other fish, including other Wrasses (Leopard, Melanurus, Red Coris). It never goes near the top of the tank, so I didn't consider it as a possible jumper, but who knows?

It will often bury itself in the sand like the other Wrasses, but is out quite often to feed. It is a great fish!
