Thanks I hope it continues to color up! I have been noticing some purple tips as well!

Just wanted to give a quick update:
Just kidding, I snapped this picture yesterday when I visited my lfs. My gbta is doing great, but has completely lost all of it's nice bubble tips. My clowns still show very little interest in the gbta, they actually do not host anything in my tank yet. Which is not a terrible thing, my clowns are the most adventurous duo ever. They swim all over my 75 gallon tank and are not the least bit scared of my other tank inhabitants. Anyways, I will snap a picture later of my actual gbta when the main light turns off!
