Need to know if a 265g can be placed on its side

So I have a 265g tank it's measurements are 85"l X 24"w X 31"h.
The glass thickness is 1/2". The only way I will be able to get it into the room I want it in is to put it on a furniture mover on it's side. Will this be ok to do or will it not be able to support it's own weight?

Side meaning the 34" X 21" panel being the top and bottom.

I moved my 300 on a furniture dolly on it's side.

I believe the side would hold but this would be standing straight up on it's end. I am a bit nervous that it may be too much weight for the glass. Here is the tank and the pic is an example of what I want to do to it. Just to clear up any confusion!

I did that for my 125 and it was fine. Maybe post that in the reef discussion section for more responses?
