Here're a couple of night shots of my Tube Anemone. He's out almost all the time. I just like these shots the best.

tube anemone

tube anemone

I loved this massive tube anemone, but I had to re home it because it took up too much real estate for corals in my tank. Should have kept it for it own nano tank.

Are these tube nems sting worse than a carpet also are they photosynthetic or not.

Check this article out regarding tube anemones. Sting is minor compared to true anemones. It requires a sandbed deep and large enough to accomodate it.

I have mine in a very low light area and it's doing fine. I've had it for about a year.

My new flamethrower. Its not overly happy right now, but seems to be doing much better. I'm seeing a green base and pink tips, cant wait for it to fully color back up

Bugs, this photo is sick! Especially with the dragon's breath in there too. Once I discovered db, I never bought cheato again.

Love all the nem photos, keep em coming.

Agreed, DB is much better than Cheato and more purity IMO/IME!

Yes, that is a sea apple in a sea of bubble tips... He holds his own and does not seem to be affected at all by the RBTA's. The bubble tips close up at night and the apple opens up fully; this is when I feed It Coral Frenzy.

I was wondering if anyone would notice the apple.
