Nem stung and almost ate my clown!!!!

Just kidding. Has anyone heard of this happening??? My female clown got stung by my carpet but not even close to being eaten. Is this normal???

I've heard of Haddoni carpets eating clowns that people tried to force into hosting them.

I swear I didnt force them...lol. She got curious in my display tank and she turned around and got too close so the nem stung her tail. Then she swam to the top of the tank.

Oh, I wasn't trying to imply anything, honest! Just saying that I remember seeing a thread where someone chased their clown into their carpet to try to get it to host and the carpet ended up grabbing the fish and nearly eating it.

I'm sure she'll be fine..she might start trying to get comfy with it now that she knows it's there!

My haddoni ate 4 tank raised clowns. 1 Percula and 3 Ocellaris. I did not force them into it either. It now hosts 2 wild polymnus clowns.
