and it's trapped. It got sucked in the front clip and his foot is sucked in, in 3 slits. I see tissue tearing....My wife found it this am when she woke up. He hasnt' spit alge yet is there hope? I cannot free him. Will he manage to get out on his own?:eek2:

Well I hope you have unplugged it! Set it on the sandbed and allow it to come out on its own, don't pull it out you will just damage it further.

aye! Looks like he wiggled his way out over night. I had set the clip on the sand bud and kpt him as upright as possible. So he's torn in a few places...anything special I can do for him?

Try to give him optimal conditions (lighting, water quality, ect.) and feed him well to encourage healing.

ok this goofball nem has been floating around y tank for over 2 months and has not planted at all yet....

So I leave the front clip and him alone this am to heal and get over whatever trama he's had. He's now trying to plant IN the cover???

Im thinking about cleaning the anemone gene pool and letting him run theru it again!!! (joke)

I have 250w MH lighting...3-4" of sand and TONS of rock. why will he not plant someplace normal? M. Doreenis like sand if I read correctly...any other thoughts on helping him find home and plant it?

Thanks for the carbon tip...starting now...

well he seems to be recovering just fine. he still drifts around and will not plant. I swear it's been 3 months!!! He looks healthy. excellent brown/green color. I feed him scallops ( which he spits out often) mysis which he actully eats. plenty of light aeras of different flow...he just won't settle in. any suggetsions?

an older photo he's more brown now...

its kind of funny that you posted it had been sucked into a koralia but in the picture its being sucked into an overflow

is there any possibility that you will figure out how not to have it sucked into something all the time.

dude, that is kinda harsh...good catch there though, I didn't even notice that it was being pulled on the right side

Kind of why I'm asking questions!

this is an oler pic. this was his favriot spot. He was settling in there. the updraft from the slit was very minor and not causeing him harm at all. He just like his tenticles to hang in there. I moved him per advice from ppl in this forum. Since I moved he has not settled at all.
