Thanks Pete... I'm still learning, and still screw up... Like every other person here...
Anyway, here is tonight. 48 hours. No deflate since last night's pancake episode. Woke up to both looking full and nice. Full all day, the one on the left ate a tiny piece of shrimp. Nice tight mouth, most of the time. Tight pressurized folds, most of the day, got really tight the longer the photo period. One on right didn't take any food, but wanted to respond. I'm guessing it's because the one on the right has been cut, and the mouth is still trying to heal up along with the column. Still looks a little like a fresh cut... Looks like they cut both the "teeth" in half. In the picture, it's the nem with the darker patch on the right, the cut mouth is almost visable to the right of the dark patch. Where the mouth is, is the end of the disk, where it was cut, and the column starts. If any of this makes sense... It tries to close it's mouth, but it can't. It closes, but the cut doesn't have anything to clamp closed, and the "teeth" just kind of hang out, with the other half of the mouth nice and tight. Hard to describe. This one has been in Pete's care for over a month now, but looked pretty poor a few days ago. Looks like a really nice gig now, if it fully recovers. Honestly, if it recovers, I'll be quite shocked, but it's made a 180 turn around with cipro.
I thought about the food... I only fed because I'm doing 100% water changes every day.
Lights were on for 8 hours today. They are off now. Both still nice and fluffy. Both have a very long road ahead...
XPE LED lights with dimmers. Only using 3 of 5 drivers (36 led's) 12 blue x 10%, 12 blue x 30% and 12 white x 40%. Water change and cipro to happen in 2 hours.
Pete buddy, we need some details, details, on what's going on with that behemeth of yours! Pictures! Pictures!
