Neon Green Button Polyps stinging

I read that these polyps were ok, however I have found out the hard way that they aren't as friendly to fish as you think. My Cardinal fish had brushed up against the polyp and then swam very erratically. It then accidentally brushed up the polyp again, and yet again the erratic swimming occurred. It survived the night, yet continues to swim and flip erratically. Now, it appears my Watchman goby is picking at it. Ugh :(

I had a colony of green button polyps for my first year in the hobby, but I never had any problems with them stinging fish.

My hand got a taste of angry polyp when i moved them. I think we got a demon strain.
