Neptune Junior Group Buy for Reef Central Members

Hi,

Sorry, we did sell out of Juniors. The sale was bigger then we expected, thanks everyone. We went ahead and put the sale link back online though for anyone wanting to PREORDER them. It could be 2-3 weeks before we get more though. If you can wait, you can order online with the original group buy link and we'll just hold the order and charge when it's ready to ship.

thanks

The link doesn't work :/

This is fantastic news for me though, since now I can finally buy a controller...YAY :D

alright. I bit the bullet and pre-ordered mine with a ph probe, dc-8, and backlit. Will you post when they are ready to ship?

will the dc-8's be here when the new batch of aquacontroller jr's come in?

I did the exact same thing.
PHEW! ANOTHER $300 for the fish....my wife's gonna have my a$$ "if" she finds out! :( :D

the DC8, like the other direct connects serves to replace the X10 method of connecting the controller to each specific equipment. Some people had problems with X10s, and the direct connect is much more reliable. They connect to the ACJr via a telephone cable so the ACJr can control the equipment. You can also daisychain several together to increase the number of items controlled by the ACJr. However, I believe the ACJr can only control 12 items. Hence, a DC8 and DC4 would be the max.

You can program as many of the plugs on the DC8 to stay on all the time. So it would act like a normal plug. The only problem with that is if the AC Jr craps out whatever you have on all the time might shut off.

Can someone post a pic and dimensions of the AC jr and DC-8. I am making a electrical control box for it and a dj power center so i need to see what it looks like and the dimensions.

If I order the Junior now, can I add a ACII later on with no interference between the two? I would like to use the Junior for my lighting - the restriction of 12 outlets is an issue for my other "appliances", but if I can use a JR just for my lights and a II for my other stuff then I'd be all set.
