Neptune Versus Digital Aquatics

Electrobes

Montipora type guy
So my birthday is coming up and though I have a functioning equipment set up on manual timers I have been debating for a short time about getting a controller. More specifically these two matching products:

- Digital Aquatics Reef Keeper 2 combo - $270.00 (everything included except pH probe.. + $47.00 = Total is $317.00)

OR

- Neptune Systems Aqua Controller Jr. combo - $132.99 + pH probe ($40.95) + DC8 ($92.00) + Aqua Notes Lite w/ serial cable ($16.95) = Total is $282.89

I've read all the features of both but am curious to know what you (as customers) think are best (feature-wise) for your personal reefs (please share your type of reef). If you got pictures do share, I love equipment pron ;)

Thanks! :D

Yeah I've read all about the two I was just curious to see what features the owners thought was most useful for their reefs :)

to me its worth it just as a timer for everything, the temp shut off works great and you can control anything you want without looking for the switch or plug.

I love my RK2. It works great, easy to use and I love that it will text message my phone if something goes screwy.
