Sorry I am OT on "NERAC feedback," but I just want to say how bummed out I am to have missed THE social event of the year. Have a really hurting ankle, most likely a pulled tendon, that would have been torture to spend such a long day walking on.

This was a really great NERAC. The speakers were really fantastic, it ran super smooth being in the conference center, which is beautiful, and the dinner was great as always. They actually outdid themselves on those desserts this year, they were awesome 
Thanks to Joe and the rest of the board, as well as the owners of the aquarium.
On a side note, I know the board was questioning whether a multi day event was possible. The couple I sat with at dinner was there from Pennselvania, so I think with the hotel a multi day would be possible if promoted well across the entire north east.
To answer the original question I got a bunch of coral food and a great print of Tiger Pods in the raffle which Im stoked on.

Was my favorite NERAC of the last 3 I have been to (and one of the reasons I pay for a family membership even though I only make an avg of 1 meeting a year). Thank you to all the people involved in making it such a well planned event.
I agree this should be most definitely be a two day event, especially with the convention center and hotel there now. The location is perfect for tri-staters as a weekend getaway with the wife/gf/family. The speakers you guys pull are top notch and it is getting a reputation for being a smallish but very high end conference, no reason for it not to grow (quite frankly, I could see it draw more people from the entire region as the name suggests). I think a much more aggressive advertising campaign would benefit the bottom line (if that is what LIRA wants of course).
My wife and I had a blast, I would have liked to see more spouses or gfs there for the dinner, it is a great deal at 50$ for the food, the ambiance and the open bar! Much cheaper than a typical date in NYC, plus you get a beautiful hotel room for a very fair price.... thanks again guys!

I think the multi day thing would work with some bigger corporate sponsors. Kind of like how successful the international car show would be if it was just a hand full of local kit car builders and non of the big names were there...But they will only come with the numbers are way up... IMO...

I won some goodies. Although the ORA frag I won I can not identify... I wish they were listed...

I also thought it was the best Nerac yet and I had a great time. I actually got to see all of the presentations and enjoyed them all. I didn't buy any corals (but did window shop!) and thought the new additions to how the raffles were done were excellent 
Dinner at the Aquarium was wonderful - the food and the company!
