Nice fish!
Thanks for letting me know how that live sale went. I had heard some other negative reviews about their coral of the month club.
The clowns are from Pieces of the Oceans Black Friday sale.
Try Reefwise, POTO or NY Aquatics, I have had good experiences with all three.
Thanks for the site suggestions. Thinking about getting another black ice like my last one I sold.
What made you decide to get the frostbite clowns? And why 3?
They were on sale for Black Friday. Normally they are much more, but they were on special for $40/per! The sample pic he had up showed all three of them and a trio can work. Plus I always end up losing one of the pair when I buy pairs of clowns, then the survivor gets weird and grouchy. Always scared to try to introduce a new clown for fear they will reject it. So this time I bought three![]()
That's a sweet deal!
Hope they all make it!
There's another reg occelaris in there as well right?
What are your ultimate goals for the tank? Just a grow out frag tank or is this gonna turn into something else?? Lol
Sounds good to me!I'm pretty sure this will stop being a frag tank once the frags grow out![]()
I think I'm done stocking fish for the foreseeable future. And I'm seriously considering pulling the three wrasses and replacing with a trio of Yellow Wrasses.
Purple Tang
Sapphire damsels x 2
Blue Headed Wrasse
Twin Spot Wrasse
Harlequin Tusk
Starry Blenny
Starburst Deepwater Chromis x 6
Ignitus Anthias x 6
Frostbite Clowns x 3
Harlequin Tusk
The ocellarus is in the 75g tank.
Could it be Dinoflangelates? Snotty and stringy golden brown stuff found in areas of mod to high lighting?I'll try to get some later today, Sam. I'm having some funky stringy brown stuff growing. I'm hoping it is new tank syndrome and will go away in time. It doesn't seem to be impacting the coral, but is not so nice to look at. I'll probably post up some pics of that as well and see if I can get an ID on it so I can treat for it.
