New 240 gallon, Bare Bottom? Or Not?

Just got my 240 and i will be setting it up in a few days, but i cant decide if i should go bare bottom, or sand bed? Never went bare bottom but Im seriously considering it this time, Im tired of the sand being blasted everywhere trying to get enough flow for my previous systems. Any suggestions? Please. I personally like the natural look of a sand bed. You could always glue sand to a thin material like 1/8 acrylic and have that on the bottom of the tank (think sand paper).

Thank You. I was actually thinking the same thing. To make a thin layer on acrylic. But what about the coraline growth on the the acrylic? I imaging it would be hard to scrape off that type of surface. At least with nothing just glass bottom I could easily scrape coraline away? Thanks. Any more suggestions?

i like the looks of a bare bottom tank , but i would never glue anything down , my current tank has mounds of sand in some spots and none in others its always moving around to becuase of the current . id put in sand but not alot just my opinion
