New 6055- Front cover issues

Just got a 6055 a few days ago and noticed the front cover comes off really easy. Is this normal? It will pop off if I'm not careful while putting it in the mount, kind of aggravating.

This is a new-unmodded front cover btw.

It should come off fairly easy but should grab strong enough that you can pick up the pump by the cover. Try again making sure that all the locking tabs engage and the notch on the bottom side is lined up.

Yeah, everything is lined up & installed properly.. Doesn't take much to pop the cover off, I'll have to be extra careful I guess.

I have the same issue with a three month old 6025. it's been this way from day one. I can set it on the counter and it will just fall off whithout even touching it.

On the 6025 the most common cause of this was the cord notch. If it is just the cord causing this problem you can just file the notch a bit deeper. This problem was caused by the US cord being thicker than the Euro cord. If that is not it let me know and we will send a new cover.

Roger- I'm sending back to AS, Don't worry about it. There is a little piece of plastic missing- I didn't realise it because it's a clean break, very "unnoticeable". I'm going to use my credit and buy a 6101.
