i just wanted to drop in on this one..Roger... Awhile back i had the popping/ clicking on 0-100 and i thought that 30 was the lowest we should go to prevent this form happening. Can we actually go down to 0 for ramping?
0 is fine and 30-100 are fine. What our controller does is if you set 0/ 100% for on and off for a fraction of a second it does 0-10% and then jumps to 100%, the only reason for this is to ease the magnet down and reduce clicking further, 0-10 happens over about .05 seconds on the 7092 and 7096.
Because a human does these steps and their is some variation. The plastic is made by a machine, the coil is made by a machine, a human completes the soldering of the coil to the cable and circuit board inside and positions it and then a robotic arm seals the finished unit with polyurethane. A small variation between units is possible.
