New 6205

Do you know how the newer (6205) pump compare to the 6201 with regards to heat? I've noticed that the 6201 can heat the water a fair bit (I was cleaning a pump and running it in a 7 g bucket and the water got quite warm.

Curous if i should be saving up to replace my 4 6201s

A 6201 uses about 55W, it will add quite a bit of heat to just a few gallons of water but in say a 180 gallon tank, it won't add more than a degree or 2. The 6205 uses 50W. It is not a huge difference.
