New acan not doing so good

Are you sure the Peppermint Shrimp aren't just eating dead flesh? I've had the exact same problem with Acans in my tank, but I don't have any shrimp. I'm able to keep all other LPS except the Acans, and this annoys me greatly.

That's odd that you can't keep Acans. Tell us a little about your tank. What lighting, what do you have for flow and of course what are your parameters. Also where do you try placing them?

I had an acan start to die on me too. To the point where I for sure thought it was a goner. I moved it to a spot where it wouldn't be trampled on by hermits and snails and it ended up growing back!
It took a couple months, but it now looks like it did before.

I had trouble with acans in my previous tank, wasn't sure why.
Only thing i did differently this time is leave them on the bottom and feed them once a week.
No issues this tank.
