New and need help - Cyano?

Just converted from fresh to salt. 20L with a Fluval HOB filter.

16 lbs live rock
4 lbs cultured rock
1 inch live sand
30 day cycle completed
2 Damsels
30 more days cycled

What is growing on my sand? Cyano? Red Slime?

That's common on new setups little cyano or diatoms it will pass

Thanks that's what I though. Also planning on adding a CPR HOB refuge. Want to increase volume and grow nutrients, etc.

Any room for a sump? Looks like a pretty large cabinet it's sitting on. Add a HOB overflow and have a giant fuge with a skimmer if you wanted

Thats diatoms ..totally normal and part of the ugly stages of a new tank...It will pass just keep up with routine maintenance of 20% water change every 2 weeks...

they thought that was a cabinet under the tank. If it's on a kitchen counter, do not drill any holes.....and I'm afraid if you keep the tank there, a sum is out of the question too.....
