New Anemone and mate for..

My very old GSM. She is around 6" long and a beast and I broke down (after a large and old RBTA Crashed) a year later and got her a new Anemone and for the first time in her life, a friend, an ORA GSM about an inch long . . . I figure how could she possibly want to hurt something the size of her front fin that isn't sexual yet!? Anyhow, just thought I would share some pics.


In the picture of the new clown and the anemone, well, this Crispa is superior colored and is almost exactly as that picture represents. . glows like a black light! Without further gab. . pics!


Her. . the size of a large mans hand

Him, about an inch long. . what color on that nem, no?

And finally, both together. . she took to him and the anemone within minutes. This is close to accurate on size differences. . yeah, she is LARGE and in charge.

How big is the anemone ? From those pictures it looks about the same size ( if not smaller ) then the female clown. If that is true, I would be concerned about the anemone. Could see the clown loving the anemone to death.

Anemone is half under the rock, I know the clwon is large but trying to find an Anemone "her size" and looking like this is spectacularly difficult. The anemone is about twice her size.


She is old, probably about 6-10, got her from a friend about 3 years ago and she lives in my 450 and still seems to be growing.

I would keep a close on the anemone. Twice the size might not be big enough, and that is a good colored anemone.

There is not much you can do though in my position, 12" anemone is still decent sized. Funny thing is, before my RBTA crashed, it had split several times and grew SUPER fast, went from 10" or less to 16" in a couple months. She does take care of them real well, feeds, cleans . . she is a very good host, but deffinatly a lover of her nem... and also her new boyfriend . . like a dog protecting a puppy.

Good thing is though, she is out of it more and giving room for the new guy, so it may be easier on the nem overall.
