I have had this gigantea for 1 week. He looks like he is going downhill. In the morning he is full and open and about 2pm every day he shrinks down. My temp swings 2 degrees. Is this a symptom of too much light? He is under 2x250 13k mh.
He looks better tonite. Sometimes from 2pm until I shut off the lights and sometimes for just a few hours. His mouth is open enough for me to see the white inside and sometimes it is closed all the way.
Is this in the morning before or just after the lights come on ? If so, the shrinking may be a reaction to the light. Try shading it and see if it remains inflated.
