New blasto frag.

So I just purchased a blasto frag which at the time I thought was the single polyp. Once I got it home I seen there were 5 much smaller polyps growing around the main one. The main one literally covers the rest up. Is there any special care I need to give these guys so they grow out from underneath the big one? They dont seem to get much light. Target feeding them is a pita but will that be enough to get them to grow?

Don't sweat it. If you can feed them, great but it is not required. While I have nothing to back this up other than my own experience with acans, blastos, etc, feeding the main polyp will help the smaller ones. The little guys will grow, just give it a little time.

Ty Im pretty hyped. I bought it off a fellow reefer for pretty cheap. Once these grow out it'll be a pretty impressive piece.

I seen little growth from my red blasto. Its been sixth months.

Figured Id give an update on this piece.

I've been target feeding this guy and the smaller polyps a couple times a week. They are just now starting to peak their heads out from behind the big one.
