New BTA acting weird

I just bot a giant bta, but its not doing so hot. At the lfs it was the anenome with the most (and i mean a lot) clownfish on it, probably one of the craziest things I have ever seen. Anyway, it looked great. I acclimated it, and dropped it in the tank to a spot where it wasn't buffetted by the powerhead currents. It seemed to be doing okay, and my clown fish really started to go nuts.

I decided to feed it used some frozen misis shrimp. The clown would go and grab the shrimp in his mouth, and bring it back to the anenome. But the shrimp didn't stick to the anenome's tentacles, and it made no effort to eat. The next morning i noticed that it won't latch on to anything and it keeps flipping onto its side, even without the current.

whats wrong?

here are some pics

It looks like it's just getting adjusted to the new environment. Give it some time. Mine took a week before it started to eat. Also, BTA like to attach to rock so it be helpful to move it off the sandbed.

you can buy a Glad bowl (3-pack) at W-Mart for $2.99
drill alot of 1/4" holes in it and place it over the anemone with a piece of LR on it to hold it in place.
it will attach to the sand in roughly several hours, or up to about a day. when you remove the bowl, it will go where it feels it wants to be for the meantime.
ive had a purple BTA that has moved about 5-6 times in 3 yrs.

They like their foot to be attached to the rock..like in a hole in the rock, cave or crevice. They won't attach to the sand and they dont like to be in a area with no water flow. With no water flow they won't attach so they can find a better place with medium to high current.
