New BTA.

So I took a chance and ordered a new BTA online. This is how it came in. Really sucks cause all the BTA here locally are way over priced. Do you think it will make it? It has been 3 days now. It has moved and now is hanging upside down. All stuff hanging from it's mouth is gone. Am just glad it's moving around a bit.

Is that the foot? It looks like there is substrate attached to it. Can you take a picture of what it looks like now that it has attached?

I did put a claim in with the supplier, but no answer yet. It seems to look a little better today. This is the first time I have been able to see his mouth.

Looking at the first picture I would have said that it did not look good for the anemone, but the more recent picture looks hopeful. If the mouth has closed that would be a very good sign.

try tiny foods first, dont start with big meals.

looks like its guts came out. Similar to what i have seen in carpet nems. Like what others have said, it looks a lot better now.

I tired feeding it some kirl soaked in Selcon last night, but wouldn't take it. I am gonna try again tonight. I agree that it does look a little bleached. This is the photo from the website I ordered it from. Got my fingers cross that it will look like this soon.

Looks bleached in their photo too. Less so in the first one you took, so it should color up nicely. Did the krill at least stick to it?

no krill didnt stick to it. ususally when i feed my rose bta it grabs it up right away.

Looks extremely better from how it arrived! So far so good. Try feeding it some PE mysis. You will need to feed smaller food so it's easier on the animal to digest. Feed maybe a quarter a cube every day for a week or two. You should see a great improvement Just like z's N p's said, a little TLC should get it back in order Goodluck and be patient!

still no luck with the feeding, but it must be getting left overs from the fish, it dropped a good size poop last night. Will try some mysis shrimp tonight.
