New BTA

Hey,
Two days ago I picked up a rose anemone that had green tips. It was a little bleached, but still had good tentacle extension. The first night I put the anemone in it inflated up to 4in. When I woke up it was hiding in a corner and it was 1in.
I've had a couple of RBTAs but is it normal for them to stay hidden all day (and last night) on the first couple of days?

Its not uncommon for it to hide. It is acclimating, give it time before being overly concerned.

Is it still deflated?

Now it is mildly puffed up. It is coming out a little.

it all part of keeping a BTA, they will inflate and deflate to expel waste on a regular basis and as pointed about above they can take a while to acclimate to a new tank.

Yeah, I've had two of them, just usually they don't acclimate this way. But I guess this one was a little bleached, so that is probably why it is acting differently.
