New bulb choice?

What bulb do you guys think I should pick? I have a 400 watt Magnetic ballast. I want to change to a bluer bulb to enjoy the colors' of my corals more. The yellow is so annoying. I was thinking about the 20K XM. It has the greatest PAR for the bluer bulbs. On the specteral plot it was higher everywhere then the Radium. I do not know if there are certain wavelengths to avoid though. Thanks for any help or suggestions. Dan

What Kelvin were you running before? I liked the 12.5K Helios bulb when I had it. (hard to turn down free bulbs that are new). Next time, I will probably go with 14Ks XMs.

I've never used 20K's, so I wouldn't know. I do like my 14Ks better than my 10K's though.

I second the 14k Hamiltons. Although they do tend to have some problems with reliability.
