Pardon my density but what's a Todd's torch and who's a you-know-who? (Sorry, RC has too much traffic for me to keep up with, so I don't even try to keep current on all the forums in here..)

IMO this pic by Keith best illustrates what "Todd's Torch" looks like

Could you please unabreviate the salt you used and link to the thread about it. Like somebody above said I don't always have time to see everything on here. Thanks and the fish do look great and good luck with re-stocking it.

Nice torch(euphylia glabrescens). Todd's torch is more of a lime green.

Well, I really liked it and it got extremely long tentacles when it went into my display. It was like a PLTA only green...unfortunately, my system does not support LPS very well and over time I lost that colony. I am still sick about it because it did so well and grew nicely for about 6 months, into an amazing specimen.

Oh well, I have fond memories of ex-girlfriends too!

metallic lime green.
retailers often use the term metallic to describe such Euphyllia morphs.

:) Mine looks more nuclear or radioactive:lol:

Keep working on the name. The better the name the more expensive the specimen in todays collectible orineted market. lol

i think we should just open a thesaurus and change all of our corals names to the longest smartest sounding adjectives we can find

it's a temporary avatar. I resized it for somebody and I'm waiting for them to copy it. I had hoped to remove it before somebody thought I placed a Moray in my reef!
FWIW I completed another 50 gallon water change today. There can only possibly be scant traces of CS in my aquarium now and everything is looking much better- including a very nice Torch :)

Woah that is a bummer Gary. I am sorry to see what happened to your reef. I am grateful that you shared you experience though. I was talking with another SPS guy and he was thinking about switching salts but after seeing the risk I think I will stick with IO and I bet he will too. On a positive note your Angelfish, and Achilles Tang are looking awesome. Those are my two favorite fish! I wish my tank was bigger so I could get them. Very nice photo of them too.
